Last Tuesday we received a lovely surprise. An advertising rep Ryan works with, and a longtime family friend of mine, called to say he had two last minute openings for a complimentary trip to Las Vegas!! What a blessing! Within two days of receiving the news we found ourselves in sunny Las Vegas which was a vast improvement over the yard work we had planned that weekend :) We enjoyed 30+ degree weather, sun soaked time by the pool, a gorgeous resort, in n' out burger (too many times over a 3 day period!), the best shopping and most importantly, some much needed time together. Just the two of us.
We feel so fortunate to have received such a lovely gift. While unexpected, it seems this little weekend getaway was just what the doctor ordered!
